ebroKite

ebroKite is a kitesurf school and shop on the Ebro reservoir (Pantano del Ebro) in Cabañas de Virtus, in the province of Burgos, on the edge of Cantabria. The flat, wave-free inland water makes learning easier, especially water starts.

The school runs kitesurf courses (beginner, improvement, private, courses for minors and boat-assisted courses) as well as wingfoil courses (beginner, improvement, private). Formats range from a one-day trial to a full two-day course, then three-day-plus programmes tailored to the student. Swimming ability is required. Teaching follows the methodology of the Spanish Sailing Federation and the IKO; students' helmets include a microphone and audio so the instructor can talk to them live.

ebroKite also offers stand up paddle (SUP): touring, flatwater and wave sessions, with equipment rental, tours and group events. A shop with kitesurf, wingfoil and snowkite equipment completes the offer, and the website has a page of accommodation near the reservoir.
