Algarve Surf School is a surf school and surf camp in Sagres that presents itself as active since 1996 and runs a surf shop on the main street (Rua Comandante Matoso, open since 2012). The camp and accommodation are on Rua Mestre António Galhardo.
The 2-hour lessons are for adults and children aged 6 to 10 (board and wetsuit, ASI-certified instructors, sports insurance) in packages of 1, 3 or 5 days. The Surf Camp Week includes 7 nights (shared or private room), 5 days of lessons (2 per day), transfer from Lagos, breakfasts, beach lunch packs and two weekly yoga sessions (April-November); a bed and breakfast night is also offered.
The shop rents surfboards and wetsuits, skateboards, paddleboards and e-bikes, and sells surf accessories and clothing.
