Jho'La Surf Camp

Jho'La Surf Camp is a small owner-run surf camp in the centre of Praia da Luz (Lagos municipality), a short walk from the beach, limited to 10 guests. It is run by Francisco, a marine biologist, certified surf instructor, dive master and custom surfboard shaper.

Packages include 5 days of 3-hour surf lessons (beginners and intermediates, equipment provided) with 7 nights of accommodation, breakfast, a snack pack on surf days and two Portuguese dinners; surf and yoga and diving formulas are also offered. Depending on the swell, sessions take place on the west or south coast. The camp runs on solar energy and works with the partner school Future Eco Surf School.
