Kite Culture Algarve, also presented as Kite & Foil Center Algarve, is a kitesurf school based in Fuseta, in the municipality of Olhao. It teaches in the Ria Formosa lagoon, a sheltered stretch of water lined with barrier islands and white beaches, known for its flat conditions.
Kiteboard lessons last one hour with a maximum of two students per instructor. The price includes the support boat, all kitesurf and safety equipment, insurance and tuition from instructors of the Portuguese Sailing Federation (F.P.V.). Equipment rental is available (kite, bar, board, harness, wetsuit) with supervision and a support boat.
The centre also rents hydrofoils, has a shop area with kite gear, and offers stand up paddle and kayak rentals and tours in the Ria Formosa. Weekly kiteboard events are advertised on the website.
