The Surf Experience (Surfalgarve Lda) is a surf school and surf camp in Lagos that presents itself as the oldest in the Algarve: operating since 1992. The base is the Surf House on Rua dos Ferreiros in the centre of Lagos.
The school welcomes all levels from first-timers: departure at 8:30 am from the Surf House, beach chosen daily by the instructors, groups split by ability with one-to-one help when needed, 2 to 3 hours of tuition per day. Board, wetsuit, transport from central Lagos and a homemade vegetarian lunch are included.
Besides day lessons (no overnight stay), the structure sells surf camp weeks (townhouse, pension or hotel accommodation, breakfast, yoga), longboard weeks, boot camps with a pro coach and surf safaris.
