Surfing Life Club

Surfing Life Club is a surf school and tourist animation company on Matosinhos beach in Porto; its Google listing presents it as the first surf school in the Porto region, open since 1994. It has a 100 m² oceanfront terrace and 7 freshwater showers.

Lessons last about 2 hours (10 to 20 minutes of theory, about 1 h 30 in the water), with at most 8 students per coach (target of 6), for ages 6 to 70; wetsuit and equipment are included. Instructors are certified by the Academy of Surfing Instructors (ASI). Programmes: group and private lessons, packages, stand up paddle and surfskate, surf safari (half or full day), Surf Educa for kids and teens, Surf Special for people with disabilities, Erasmus, schools, events, corporate retreats, a holiday camp and equipment rental and storage.

Gift vouchers: Surf Experience 30 EUR (one lesson, one person), Surf Romance 40 EUR per person (lesson for two). Other prices are in an external document; discounts of up to 30% for groups and longer stays. Wetsuits are Hurley (official Hurley Surf Club since 2021).
