School Presentation
Kite-Mallorca (Daniel's & Gerhard's VDWS Kitesurfing Center) is a kitesurf and wingfoil school and centre on Sa Marina beach, in the Bay of Pollença between Alcúdia and Port de Pollença. It has been teaching since 2009 and states about fifteen years of experience.
The water is flat and shallow (waist-deep for hundreds of metres) with a sandy bottom and a thermal wind, the Embat, announced from April to October. Lessons are given in small groups (maximum 2 to 4 students per instructor) in Spanish, English and German: a 3-hour introduction, a 10-hour basic course over 3 to 5 days with VDWS/IKO certification, advanced coaching (upwind riding, jumps), hydrofoil (2 hours minimum), strapless and private lessons.
The centre rents Duotone and Eleveight equipment (kites, bars, twintip and directional boards, wings and foils), with free size changes on the beach and rescue-boat supervision. Free parking at the spot.

- Full equipment rental (kite, bar, board, harness, wetsuit): EUR 40 for 1 h, EUR 70 for 2 h, EUR 100 for 3 h, EUR 120 per day, EUR 500 per week
- Kite only (with bar): EUR 25 for 1 h, EUR 50 for 2 h, EUR 80 per day, EUR 360 per week
- Board only: EUR 10 for 1 h, EUR 20 for 2 h, EUR 30 per day, EUR 140 per week
- Hydrofoil / wingfoil gear: EUR 40 for 1 h, EUR 75 for 2 h, EUR 130 per day, EUR 550 per week
