Windzone Isla Cristina

Windzone is a sailing and watersports school founded in 2008 in Isla Cristina (Huelva province) by brothers Emilio and Javier Bogarín. It sits on the central beach (Playa Central), at the Levante walkway opposite Camping Giralda and Hotel Estival Isla Cristina, and says it is open all year round.

The website describes a thermal wind regime, northerly in the morning and westerly in the afternoon, around 18 knots in summer, with an artificial rock groyne near the beach that calms the water. Kitesurf lessons include full equipment, vest, helmet, a private rescue boat and a maximum of two students per instructor; the school also offers a Water Star session to practise board starts from the boat.

Besides kitesurfing, Windzone teaches and rents windsurf, catamaran, paddle, surf and kayak, runs kayak and paddle tours in the marshes, summer camps for children (nautical playroom, kids' sailing) and offers equipment storage with lockers. Free parking for customers.

Customer reception: 10:00-14:00 and 16:00-20:00. Kitesurf lessons between 10:00 and 20:30 depending on the wind. Summer camps Monday to Friday, 9:00-14:30. Summer equipment storage: 31 May to 13 September 2026.
