School Presentation
We Are Salty People is a one-instructor kitesurf school run by Federico M. Kessler, an IKO Level 3 instructor (IKO member no. 40442) with more than eleven years of teaching. It is registered with Turismo de Portugal (RNAAT 580/2025) and teaches on the Óbidos Lagoon, a flat, waist-deep lagoon.
Lessons come in private (one student), shared and semi-private formats, with an IKO certificate issued after 9 or more hours of lessons. Gear (Airush and Core) is included in the lessons; there is no standalone rental, but the school gives buying advice and offers lesson-plus-equipment packages. Lessons are taught in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
The school does not publish a fixed meeting point: sessions depend on the wind forecast.
