SBKiteboarding

SBKiteboarding is a licensed and insured kitesurf school teaching on two beaches around Lisbon: Guincho near Cascais, and Costa da Caparica south of the capital. Depending on conditions, lessons are also held at Lagoa de Albufeira, Carcavelos, Fonte da Telha or Alcochete, and the school also lists bases at Foz do Arelho (Óbidos) and in the Algarve between Lagos and Alvor.

Instructors speak English, Spanish and Portuguese. The offer includes a half-day taster, a full three-day course, a five-day programme, private lessons, intermediate and advanced courses, wing foil lessons and kitesurf and windsurf gear rental. Children from 10 years old are accepted.

Helmet, harness, buoyancy vest and wetsuit are provided, and equipment is included in the lesson price. The school also runs kitesurf camps in Caparica and the Algarve.
