Active Kite Sardinia

Active Kite Sardinia (AKS) is a kitesurf school, run as a sports association (ASD), based in La Caletta, a hamlet of Siniscola on Sardinia's north-east coast. Olbia Costa Smeralda airport and the port of Olbia are about 40 minutes away by car.

Lessons are held at two neighbouring spots: the main spot is the summer base, while a second one is preferred in spring and autumn, so courses can run through the year. The international team is made up of instructors holding international licences. The website is available in Italian, English and German.

The offer includes a discovery course, a basic course for beginners (private or semi-private), an advanced course, personal coaching and downwind sessions for experienced riders. The Windchaser is a one-week travelling programme that follows the wind around the island, for groups of friends or families. Equipment is provided for all courses except the Windchaser. The school also keeps a small second-hand equipment shop and publishes a live beach webcam.
