Nautic Club Limousin – Lake Vassivière

The Nautic Club Limousin is a sailing school on Vauveix beach in Royère-de-Vassivière, on Lake Vassivière (Creuse and Haute-Vienne). It is labelled Ecole Française de Voile and Point Location, and has a second base in Guéret.

The school offers equipment rental, lessons and introductory or improver courses across all sailing disciplines. Its fleet includes dinghies, catamarans, Optimists, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, windsurf boards, paddle boards, wing, wingfoil and an electric e-foil. Courses are organised on demand, from age 6, for individuals and groups of 5 to 18 people.

The base is a short walk from the Vauveix beach campsite. The club posts regularly on its Facebook page, including on the state of the lake (a September 2026 notice about the water deficit).
