The Yacht Club Grenoble Charavines (YCGC) is the sailing base of Lake Paladru, in Isère, affiliated with the French Sailing Federation. It offers sailing, kayaking and paddling, with a sailing school, summer courses led by qualified instructors and programmes for groups, schools and people with disabilities.
Independent users can rent a windsurf board, stand up paddle, kayak, dinghy, catamaran or group sailboat. Private lessons (keelboat, dinghy, catamaran, windsurf, kayak, paddle) are given by a qualified instructor for up to two people.
The club also runs heritage outings on a schooner on Wednesdays in July and August and a 'Pagaie Patrimoine' paddle route labelled Sentiers Nautiques. Its website shows lake weather and webcams.

Schedule
Reception: Monday to Friday, 10 am - 5 pm. Stand up paddle rental every weekend in May and June, then daily in July and August.
Pricing
- Windsurf rental: 1 h €18, 2 h €29
- Stand up paddle rental: 1 h €18, 2 h €30
- Private lesson: €48 for 1 h or €90 for 2 h, plus the board rented at half price
