Houlgate Assoss Kite (HAK)

Houlgate Assoss Kite (HAK) is the kitesurf section of the association Voiles Libres Pays d'Auge, present on Houlgate beach (Calvados) since early 2003. The association also includes a paragliding section and a SUP section (Black Paddle).

A club affiliated with the FFVL, it issues licences to its members. Members get involved in safety at the spot, in a gathering place, in organising events (including a French championship qualifier) and in weekends or trips to other spots.

The club practises kitesurf and wingfoil and offers a youth section (HAKcros), a shop, loans of SUP or TIKI boards, training such as PSC1 first aid and Self Rescue sessions. Outings are organised, for example to Chausey in June 2026.
