Surfclub Heusden

Surfclub Heusden is a windsurf club a few kilometres from Ghent, beside a recreational lake in Heusden (Destelbergen). The fully renovated clubhouse has a modern bar and a large terrace overlooking the water.

Members have access to the grounds and free use of the beach volleyball courts, kayaks and surf equipment. The club deliberately limits its membership to keep the place quiet, and registration for new members opens each year in mid-March.

Lesson series and windsurf camps run throughout the year; they are open to people who are not yet members, who can then join during the season.

April to October: open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm; in July and August, every day from 2pm.
