Kite Club Gals Moldova

Kite Club Gals is the kite association of the Republic of Moldova, based in Chișinău. It presents itself as the country's official kiteboarding club and a member of the international IKA association.

Its website, running since 2009, gathers photo and video reports from sessions, articles on equipment, an annual catalogue of kites and boards, event announcements and a classifieds section. Members mostly ride on the Ghidighici reservoir near Chișinău and on Lake Taraclia in the south of the country; the club also writes up its kite trips to Greece, Cyprus and elsewhere in Europe.

The club welcomes beginners who want to learn to fly a kite, and advises riders on spots and on who to contact to repair a damaged kite. Contact by phone or through the Facebook page.
