St Annes Kitesurfing Club

St Annes Kitesurfing Club is a kitesurfing club affiliated with the British Kitesurfing Association (BKSA), based on St Annes-on-Sea beach in Lancashire. Its aim is to bring local kitesurfers together and promote the safe practice of kite sports at St Annes beach.

The spot has year-round wind (mostly south-westerly, any westerly is rideable), a large beach, shallow water and several lagoons; spring and autumn are the windiest seasons. New members are buddied up with an experienced member for their first sessions, and a members-only chat group says who is going out. The club occupies a beach building with changing rooms and showers, which also houses the Beachcomber cafe; membership is applied for online. The website offers a wind report and a live webcam.
