Clyde Windsurfing & Paddle Boarding Club

Clyde Windsurfing & Paddle Boarding Club, founded in 1981, is a windsurfing club on Castle Semple Loch at Lochwinnoch in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Its clubhouse, past the visitor centre and the sailing club, stores boards and training equipment.

Membership is open to everyone: families, couples, single adults and under-18s. Beginners start with a training course following the RYA schemes, equipment, wetsuit and buoyancy aid included, which includes first-year membership. Weekly sessions run on Tuesday evenings for juniors and Thursday evenings for adults and families, with weekend beginner courses. Wave sailing road trips to Barassie Beach in Troon run in onshore winds, and stand up paddleboarding replaces windsurfing on windless days.
