Description
Uppsala Vindsurfingklubb is a non-profit association under KFUM Uppsala that promotes windsurfing and other non-motorised water sports: SUP, wing foil and ice surfing. The club is based at the KFUM Alnäs outdoor center in Uppsala.
It offers windsurf and wing foil courses throughout the summer. The windsurf course lasts two days (2 x 5 h, usually from 9 am to 2 pm): short theory, land simulator, then training on the water; a full board and rig, wetsuit, life jacket, changing rooms with shower and the club kitchen are included. Participants must be members for the club's insurance to apply. The 2026 season opened in May and ends on 1 November.
The club also runs a club championship, discovery days (Vattensportens Dag) and tailored courses for companies and associations.
