Bristol Kite Club

Bristol Kite Club is a kitesurfing club affiliated to the BKSA, the British kitesurfing association. Its members live mostly in Bristol and the South West of England (it was previously called Wind, Wheels & Waves, then took the name of the city where most members live). It aims to provide a safe, inclusive environment for kitesurfing, with dedicated launch and landing zones.

The website publishes a beginners' guide, practical tips, documents and a spot list with the recommended wind direction and tide: Weston-super-Mare, Berrow, Brean, Hurst, Westward Ho!, Exmouth, Hayling Island, Portland, Rest Bay, Oxwich and Pembrey, among others. The club shares news and meet-ups through a Facebook group and a WhatsApp group.

To join, members first take out an annual BKSA membership, which includes liability and accident insurance, and select Bristol Kite as their local club.
