ABWS - Associação Brasileira de Windsurf

The Associação Brasileira de Windsurf (ABWS) is a non-profit association whose purpose is to promote windsurfing in Brazil and have it recognised and professionalised. It presents itself as having jurisdiction over all windsurf disciplines in the country.

Founded in 2005 according to its site, it runs an average of 7 to 10 championships a year and publishes an annual calendar (2025 calendar online). The site also has a membership fee and members page. Its address on Google Maps is Av. do Pepê in Barra da Tijuca (Rio de Janeiro).
