Akarai Club

Akarai is the wing, windsurf, kite and surf club of the Pitiusas (Ibiza and Formentera), bringing together surf, foil drive, wingfoil, kitesurf and windsurf riders (221 members reported). It presents itself as the leading wingfoil organisation in the Balearics and organises competitions and events.

Member benefits include discounts on Trasmapi ferry crossings between Ibiza and Formentera, live webcams at the spots, a "virtual rider" assistant to help choose spot, time and safety, offshore rescue depending on the membership level, free entry to club regattas, monthly test equipment, free wingfoil lessons and shop discounts of up to 20%. The website also publishes the rankings of its 2026 events (Big Air, Big Wave) and a page on wind in Ibiza.
