Escuela Náutica Granadilla

Escuela Náutica Granadilla is a non-profit sports association, officially affiliated with the Extremadura Sailing Federation and founded in 2014 by a group of friends passionate about sailing. It is located on the Gabriel y Galán reservoir, formed by the dam on the Alagón river, in the north of Cáceres province (Extremadura). It has no premises of its own: it uses a storage shed lent by the Junta de Extremadura and El Anillo to keep its equipment and boats.

The offer includes windsurf courses, Optimist courses for children and introductory dinghy sailing (420), plus regattas and events, including the "Tierras de Granadilla" windsurf regatta held on 4-6 July 2025. The association's aim is to promote watersports, especially sailing, notably in school sport.
