Ria de Aveiro Kite Club

Ria de Aveiro Kite Club is a wind and water sports club based at Gafanha da Encarnação (Ílhavo), on the Ria de Aveiro. The website states it has been active since 2010; the club has members ("sócios") who can book sessions and enjoy perks, and it also runs a kiteboard school certified by the Portuguese Sailing Federation (FPV), an IKO affiliated centre (no. 88027).

Activities listed are kitesurf, wingfoil, wingboard, wakeboard and wakefoil, surf, stand up paddle and streetkite. Programmes exist for children from age 8 and for adults at different levels, with private lessons, group activities and team building.

The club is a partner of Turismo de Portugal and of the Estação Náutica de Ílhavo (RNAAT 541/2022).
