AKL - Association Kitesurf Lorraine (Madine)

AKL (Association Kitesurf Lorraine) is the kitesurf club, affiliated to the French free-flight federation (FFVL), that manages kitesurfing on Lake Madine (Meuse). The lake has specific constraints (dykes, trees, concrete structures, other users), so the club requires an independent level of riding.

Annual membership is 30 EUR and requires an FFVL licence and FFVL insurance covering kitesurfing. A single test session is possible to confirm one's level. AKL is a club for independent riders: it offers neither lessons nor rental; beginners must go through an approved school.
