Description
The Club de snowkite du Lautaret is an FFVL-affiliated association (no. 01966) bringing together snowkiters at the Col du Lautaret (Hautes-Alpes), at the Hôtel des Glaciers. Since 2018 it has been mainly run by Jérôme Josserand, a professional snowkite rider, with volunteer instructors.
Two membership levels are offered (10 EUR or 50 EUR). They give access to the general assembly, advice on the spot and conditions at the pass, equipment rental with a volunteer instructor, equipment testing subject to availability, partner discounts and club events. Children from age 8 can join introduction lessons on Wednesday afternoons.
The 50 EUR membership also includes club courses and lower rental prices. FFVL insurance is compulsory.
