Kite Repair, kitesurf craftsman in Beuvillers

Kite Repair is a kitesurf and wing foil kite repair workshop based in Beuvillers, near Lisieux (Calvados, Normandy). The website states it has been running since 2011; it is run by Bruno Thomasse, who answers requests himself and received the Voile d'Or award in 2015.

The workshop handles kitesurf kites (leading edge, battens and sleeves, trailing edge, dacron canopy, bladder, reinforcements, seam rework, panel replacement) and wing foil wings (inflatable leading edge, transparent window, handles, centre strut). It repairs all brands and notably mentions F-One, Duotone, North, Naish, Cabrinha, Slingshot, Takoon, Ozone, Core, Gong and Sroka.

The service is designed to work remotely: you send photos via WhatsApp to get a quote, then ship the kite by parcel (shipping paid by the customer, free return above 250 EUR within mainland France). The announced turnaround is 24 to 72 hours in most cases, with an express option, and repairs are guaranteed for three months on the repaired area. Hand delivery is possible at the Le Menhir surf shop in Cabourg, or at the workshop by appointment.

The workshop also makes custom technical textiles: covers, trailer and pool tarpaulins, boat covers, catamaran trampolines, tent canvas and straps.
