Mark Phipps Surfboards, kitesurf craftsman in Point Lonsdale

Phipps Surfboards is the workshop of Mark Phipps, a shaper from Point Lonsdale in Victoria. A former competitor, he picked up the planer early on under the guidance of Wayne Lynch and Greg Brown at the famous Gash factory. He splits his time between Point Lonsdale and France.

The workshop makes custom, high-performance surfboards: shortboards, guns and longboards, mid-lengths, hybrids, specialty boards and boards for kids, fitted to each surfer's build, style and goals. Boards can be ordered online, directly from the workshop or through a network of dealers in Australia and abroad.
