About the craftsman
Cheboards is a surfboard factory in Tamarindo. It makes three lines: Cheboards, Evangelista and Lightning Bolt, with longboards, funboards and fish, including shapes designed for noseriding.
The workshop builds boards from Costa Rican balsa wood with organic fibre and resin using a chambered system, entirely by hand. Visitors are welcome at the factory, which also sells furniture and t-shirts.
