Borgssurfshop / Magic Wave, kitesurf craftsman in Faaborg

Borgssurfshop (Magic Wave) is a workshop and kite equipment shop in Faaborg, on the island of Fyn (Funen). It belongs to Anders Borg, a surfer since 1984, who started building windsurf boards in 1994, then kiteboards as soon as kitesurfing reached Denmark in 1999, developed with several of Denmark's best kitesurfers. The workshop also contributed to production boards for Liquid Force.

The workshop repairs windsurf and kite boards, kites, windsurf sails and carbon bikes, and has done so since 1986, with the environmental approvals needed to work with epoxy; it still builds custom boards for strapless kiteboarding. Quotes are requested by email.

The online shop, open since 2004, sells kites, boards, foils and wing gear, harnesses, wetsuits and accessories from many brands, with personal advice. An associated kite school (Fynssurfskole) teaches beginners on the island.
