Hot Sails Maui, kitesurf craftsman in Kahului

Hot Sails Maui is a windsurfing sail loft in Kahului, on the island of Maui in Hawaii. Since 1985 it has made windsurfing sails and equipment in its island loft, led by Jeffrey Henderson, and says it designs and tests them in Maui's conditions.

The range covers wave sails, freeride sails, the Superfreak, kids and school sails, plus masts, booms and accessories. The KS3 wave sail, developed in 2013 with Kauli Seadi and Tom Hammerton, is presented as the brand's reference; its 4.9 m Lithium 2.0 version is listed at 2.1 kg. The brand also makes a wing (Hot Wing) and resells used windsurfing sails.
