Runyon Surfboards, kitesurf craftsman in Jacksonville

Runyon Surfboards is a workshop and shop for hand-shaped surfboards in North Carolina, run by Clint in Jacksonville. Boards are made for surfers across the country, with a personal approach: everyone is invited to talk through their board with the shaper.

The range includes grovelers (shortboards for 1-4 ft surf), performance boards (for 3-8 ft surf), mid-lengths, fish, longboards, noseriders and stand up paddleboards, available custom or from stock. The workshop also makes skateboards from upcycled resin and sells accessories (traction pads, leashes, board bags, fins) and apparel.

It also runs surfboard shaping classes to learn to shape your own board, no previous experience required, with limited places.
