Boardsbyneira, kitesurf craftsman in A Coruña

Boardsbyneira is the composite board building and repair workshop of David Vidal Neira in A Coruña; he has worked as a freelancer since 2017. He builds and repairs surfboards, windsurf boards, stand up paddle boards, rescue boards, waveskis, skimboards, wingfoil, kitesurf (surfkite), foil boards and bodyboards.

The workshop has a vacuum pump to extract water from board cores and for vacuum laminations, and works with polyester, epoxy, PU, EPS, glass, aramid and carbon. It builds to measure, with tinted resins or paint, usually from CNC preshapes (custom or standard), with a usual lead time under 4 weeks, as well as made-to-measure bodyboards finished in natural cork.
