La Voilerie, kitesurf craftsman in Ramonville-Saint-Agne

La Voilerie is a small sailmaking workshop that has operated since 1985 at the Port-Sud harbour in Ramonville-Saint-Agne, on the edge of Toulouse. It was founded by Mireille Lelièvre, trained at Voilerie Cudenec in Brest, and first became known among windsurfers sailing at Leucate, La Franqui and Lake La Ganguise, focusing on repairs rather than building new sails.

Since October 2021 her daughter Joanna Lelièvre, a naval architect by training, has run the workshop. She extended the activity to the repair of kitesurf kites, wing foil wings and ram-air wings, alongside windsurf sails and leisure boat sails.

The workshop services and repairs light canopies and sails: panel replacement, tears along battens, leading edge repairs, sewn reinforcement patches. It also sells repair tape (band repair) for fixes while travelling and publishes care advice to make wings last longer.

Besides watersports gear, La Voilerie makes covers, bags, lazy-bags, made-to-measure shade sails and a few decorative accessories. It is located on the harbour, opposite the Port-Sud harbour office.

Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 6:30pm (6pm in winter hours). Visits between 12pm and 2pm by appointment.
