Baba Shape, kitesurf craftsman in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron

Baba Shape is a surfboard building and repair workshop in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron on the Ile d'Oléron. Baba's Shape boards are made entirely by hand by shaper Bastien Simon, who trained with shaper Olivier Decomble (Nostaltir, in Château-d'Oléron).

The workshop offers custom boards matched to build, surfing level and the type of waves surfed, with varied designs and decoration: tinted resins, pin lines, Japanese fabric inlays, hydrographic printing and custom logos.

It carries out all types of repairs and makes resin fins, tinted or clear, wooden fins to glass in, and cork pads. The website also shows several videos of the workshop and of sessions at Chassiron.
