Overview

Praia de Mindelo is a wide sandy beach about 20 km north of Porto, in Vila do Conde. Long beach exposed to NW Nortada with consistent waves. Less crowded than the Porto city beaches. Sandy bottom, good beach breaks. Some infrastructure — parking, restaurants. Popular with local surfers and kiters. Intermediate level.
