Puerto Lajas is a local wave and freeride spot on the east coast of Fuerteventura, between the capital Puerto del Rosario and Corralejo. This small beach near a fishing harbour offers varied conditions in a less touristic setting.
The NE trade wind blows side-onshore here, making it safer than west-coast spots. Conditions range from flat to small-medium waves depending on swell. A good intermediate spot away from the crowds of Corralejo and Sotavento.
Freeride and small waves. Sandy beach launch. Good for intermediate riders wanting varied conditions without the crowds.
