Bahia Salinas - Papaturro is a kitesurfing spot within the famous Bahia Salinas, in north-west Guanacaste. This section of the bay offers a slightly different body of water from Ecoplaya, with varied conditions depending on the tide. The north-easterly Papagayo winds blow powerfully from December to April, regularly reaching 25 to 35 knots. An internationally renowned kitesurfing spot.
