Riumar — the wave spot of the Ebro Delta, on the north bank of the river. 2.6 km beach, 150m wide. Best with N/NW Mestral winds (cross-shore) which blow a force stronger here than at Trabucador and more steadily. Winter spot primarily — Mestral onshore. Summer winds (S) are offshore here. Beach bars and wooden walkways protecting natural dunes. Services year-round (showers, bars) — unlike Trabucador. 18 km from Trabucador. In the Delta de l'Ebre Natural Park. No navigation restrictions.
Year-round, no restrictions.
Winter/Spring: BEST SEASON. Mestral NW cross-shore, strong and steady. Best mornings (before heat reduces wind). Choppy conditions.
Summer: S winds are offshore here — less ideal. Better to go to Trabucador for south winds. Still rideable for experienced riders.
Complement to Trabucador: Riumar = N/NW winds, Trabucador = S/SW winds.
Choppy to small waves (Mediterranean — nothing compared to ocean). Sandy bottom, safe. Slightly bigger conditions than Trabucador. Water 22-26°C summer, 13-16°C winter. 5/4 winter, shorty summer. Showers available year-round.

Sandy track at the north end of the seafront. Follow the road to the seafront and turn left. In winter, locals rig in the shelter of a rental house on the beach. Beach bars and walkways along the beach. Nearby: Deltebre (10 km), campsites in the area.
⚠️ Occasional beach goers in summer — watch out.
⚠️ Mestral NW can get strong (30-50 kts) and slightly gusty (inland origin).
⚠️ No major hazards otherwise — very safe spot.
