Overview

Praia da Vieira (de Leiria) is a fishing village beach north of Nazaré. Long sandy beach, NW Nortada, Atlantic waves. Traditional Portuguese seaside village — colourful wooden houses on stilts (palheiros). Less touristy, authentic atmosphere. Intermediate kite. Reasonable waves and space on the beach.
