Overview

Leça da Palmeira is a rocky beach north of Matosinhos, famous for its Álvaro Siza-designed swimming pool complex (Piscina das Marés). Exposed to powerful NW Nortada. Expert spot — rocks, strong currents, and heavy waves. One of the most challenging spots near Porto. Not for beginners. Beautiful but dangerous coastline.
