Overview

Âncora is a small beach town just south of the Spanish border, between Moledo and Viana do Castelo. Long sandy beach with consistent NW Nortada and Atlantic waves. Less known than Cabedelo or Moledo — quieter but good conditions for wave riding. The Âncora river mouth provides some shelter. Cold Atlantic water ~16-17°C.
