Overview

Fistral Beach in Newquay is the most famous surf beach in England, also used for kitesurfing and wingfoil. Fully exposed west to the Atlantic, it receives the swell and dominant SW winds. The spot is reserved for experienced riders due to waves, currents and rocks. In summer, kiting is banned on the main beach.

Powerful waves, rip currents. Rocks at the ends of the beach. Heavy summer crowds with surfers. Kite restrictions in summer on the main beach.
