Overview

Zeebrugge is a kitesurf spot near Belgium's largest container port (West Flanders). The beach here catches N/W/WNW/NW/NNW winds. The massive port of Zeebrugge dominates the landscape — heavy shipping traffic in the approaches. Stay strictly within designated areas away from shipping lanes.

Offshore wind (E/SE) forbidden on the entire Belgian coast. Large tidal range. The port breakwaters create specific wind channeling effects. An industrial backdrop but functional spot for the local community. Check current access rules as port expansion may affect spot availability.
