Middelkerke is a kitesurf spot at Middelkerke (West Flanders), a popular Belgian seaside resort between Oostende and Westende. Wide sandy beach typical of the Belgian coast. Best winds SW/WSW/W/WNW/NW onshore from the North Sea.

Offshore wind (E/SE) forbidden on the entire Belgian coast. Large tidal range — wide beach at low tide, narrow at high tide. Busy resort in summer — strictly respect swimmer zones and beach regulations. Good infrastructure nearby.
