Anderson Inlet is a kitesurf spot located near Inverloch in Gippsland, Victoria. This large inlet offers flat water conditions sheltered from ocean swell, ideal for freestyle and learning. It is one of the best flat water spots in Victoria. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. The inlet offers flat and shallow water, well protected from ocean waves. Conditions change significantly with the tides. The bottom is sandy to muddy. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners thanks to the sheltered conditions and shallow water. The water is cold, thick wetsuit required. Watch out for currents in the main channel. Inverloch has accommodation and amenities. It is a very popular spot for kite schools.
