Kitesurf spot at Plage Cartier, in the Port-Cartier area on the North Shore. This long sand beach offers access to the Gulf of St. Lawrence with southern exposure. Port-Cartier is an industrial and port town that nonetheless offers a wild and open riding environment. The Gulf is immense at this point, offering virtually unlimited fetch southward. The beach is wide and clear, ideal for launching.
