Tropical Corner is the last true windsurfing centre in the Geneva region and one of Switzerland's largest SUP centres. Founded in 1981 as a windsurfing school, the centre has evolved to offer windsurfing, wingfoil, windfoil, SUP and pump foil. Located at Quai de Cologny 9 (1223 Cologny), right on the shores of Lake Geneva, it offers stunning views of the lake and the Jet d'Eau fountain.
The centre provides private and group lessons for all levels from age 7, along with premium equipment rental (Neilpryde, JP Australia, Windsurfer). Boards range from 80L to 240L and sails from 1.0m² to 8.2m², renewed annually with the latest models. Seasonal subscriptions are available, combining windsurfing with SUP or foil access.
In summer (July-August), group courses for young people aged 8 to 17 are organised in partnership with the Geneva Sports Service. No membership fees required. The atmosphere is relaxed with a friendly terrace to unwind between sessions.

Underground parking beneath the complex. Address: Quai de Cologny 9, 1223 Cologny.
The spot mainly works with the Bise (northeast wind), which can generate nice chop on the lake. The southwest wind is also rideable but comes in gusts and is disrupted by the city of Geneva. On rare occasions, the Joran wind can come in (usually late afternoon): it arrives suddenly, blows strong but never lasts very long — don't venture too far as you'll be able to ride the lake lengthwise.
