Wiarton sits at the head of Colpoys Bay on the Bruce Peninsula's east coast. The bay opens east toward Georgian Bay. Wiarton is known as the "Gateway to the Bruce Peninsula" and famous for Wiarton Willie (the weather groundhog).
Town with good amenities. Water access from municipal beaches. The bay offers some protection compared to the open lake. East and northeast winds offer best conditions.
