The Dakhla Speed Spot is a specific section of the lagoon, just south of the main area, known for its butter-flat water at low tide with offshore wind. The most exposed and windiest part of the lagoon.
A freestyle and speed paradise — the water is oily smooth at low tide, perfect for speed runs, flat water tricks, and Woo records. At higher tide, small wind waves form.
Popular for downwinder departures towards Dune Blanche (13 km).
Butter-flat at low tide. Small wind waves at high tide. Offshore wind. Speed runs, freestyle, foiling paradise. Starting point for Dune Blanche downwinders.
